Good afternoon. The heat continues to linger for western parts of the country with a heat wave advisory in effect. Eastern regions, including Daegu, will continue to be cooler... highs will be in the mid-twenties until the end of the week thanks to easterly winds.
Have a small umbrella handy, regions on the east and south coast as well as Jeju will see 5 to 20 millimeters of rainfall this morning, while passing showers are in store for many inland regions this afternoon, including Seoul.
Top readings will be much more bearable for regions in the east due to easterly winds, while central regions will have a blistering one with high humidity.
Monsoon rain returns for the mid-part of the week, that will bring the highs down a few notches,... while Tuesday is shaping up to be sweltering one.
