If only temperatures could be as bearable as yesterday for the rest of summer here in Seoul, it would be quite nice, but temperatures will rebound to scorching levels while Daegu will see relief from the heat.
Welcome rain will bring some cooler air to Daegu but despite another round of showers in Seoul, it will remain quite humid.
Other than Chuncheongnam-do Province, most regions will see showers... Seoul will see rain in the afternoon with on-and-off showers at times.
For a closer look at today's temperatures, Seoul and Daejeon are waking up to bearable morning temperatures at 26 degrees, Jeju is warmer at 27 degrees.
Daily highs in Seoul and Daejeon will be sweltering at 35 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Busan can breathe little better today.
The 14th typhoon of the season Yagi has developed and it will head towards Japan's Ryukyu Islands this weekend, possibly approaching Shanghai. It could indirectly affect South Korea on its way, giving us relief from the heat. Its path could change so be sure to stay updated.
