Song Joong-ki files for divorce from Song Hye-kyo

Actor Song Joong-ki has filed for divorce from actress Song Hye-kyo.
Song Joong-ki's lawyer said on Thursday his law firm has filed for divorce on behalf of the actor at the Seoul Family Court.
In the statement, Song apologized for the unfortunate news and hoped the divorce process would go smoothly.
He added it's difficult to share the details of his personal life but promised to repay fans' support through great productions in the future.
Song Hye-kyo also released a statement saying that they made the decision because of a difference in personality.
The star couple married in October 2017 after starring together in the hit TV drama "Descendants of the Sun" the year before.
