Huawei files motion to expedite lawsuit against U.S.

Huawei has taken steps to expedite its legal case against the U.S. government.
China's CCTV reports that the Chinese tech giant has requested a summary judgement in a U.S. court, which it wants to overturn part of the law that bans government agencies from using Huawei technology.
It says that clause of the National Defense Authorization Act is unconstitutional because it targets a private company for punishment without trial.
In response to the request for a summary judgement, the federal court for the Eastern District of Texas has scheduled a hearing for September 19th.
