Visitors can wear Hanbok of opposite gender to enter palaces for free

Visitors can now wear traditional Korean Hanbok garments... typically worn by the opposite gender... and still enter Korean palaces for free starting this July.
This means male visitors can wear Hanbok skirts... known as Chima ... and women can wear Hanbok pants.
The announcement was made... by the Cultural Heritage Administration on Wednesday... after Korea's human rights watchdog said... that restrictions on clothing are a form of discrimination.
Previously,... visitors were only allowed to wear specific Hanbok items,... in accordance to their gender,... in order to gain free entrance to palaces.
