Korean War Legacy Foundation publishes, distributes teaching materials in U.S.

The Korean War Legacy Foundation has published its first teaching materials solely centered on the Korean War.
The books will be used at elementary to high schools in the United States.
The 231-page book, titled "The Korean War and Its Legacy," was published in collaboration with the National Council for the Social Studies, …with support from South Korea's Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
The book is divided into five chapters and weighs heavily on interviews with veterans.
The foundation will first distribute the books to 15-thousand teachers who belong to National Council for the Social Studies... for use in the 2019-2020 school year.
There are also plans to distribute the book to teachers in Canada in the near future.
