Data show South Korea's production and exports of electronics have fallen sharply over the past five years the only exception being semiconductors.
The Korea Electronics Association said Tuesday that production volume of six out of eight electronics items made in South Korea last year was down compared to 2013.
Production of mobile devices fell by half.
On the other hand,... semiconductor production doubled.
Semiconductor exports rose as well,... while exports of other electronics products, including computer monitors, dropped.
