President Trump has again criticized the Federal Reserve for not cutting interest rates, tweeting Monday that the Fed is acting like a stubborn child.
Trump said the U.S. economy is on course to have one of the best Junes on record, and that if the Fed had not raised rates far so fast last year, the U.S. economy would've been even better off.
The Fed voted last week to keep its key rates unchanged at two-and-a-quarter to two-and-a-half percent, where they've been since a hike in December.
But Fed Chairman Jerome Powell did drop hints in last week's meeting that have prompted many to expect a rate cut next month.
