S. Korea's first couple watches award-winning Korean film "Parasite"

President Moon Jae-in took some time off on Sunday... to watch the film "Parasite",... which was awarded the top prize at Cannes Film Festival.
Joined by presidential chief of staff Noh Young-min,… the first couple watched the movie... at a theatre in Yongsan-gu District in Seoul.
The President last month... congratulated the filmmakers of "Parasite" via social media... praising its contributions to South Korean culture.
The movie was awarded the Palme d'Or Award at Cannes Film Festival last month,... becoming the first-ever Korean film to take home the prestigious award.
It has logged 9 million admissions in Korea... as of this Sunday.
