Pres. Moon appoints new presidential chief of staff for policy, senior secretary for economy

President Moon Jae-in has replaced both of his top economic policy aides as Asia's fourth-largest in Asia, cools sharply this year.
The Blue House announced Friday,... that Kim Sang-jo, currently the chairperson of the Fair Trade Commission,... will serve as the new Chief of Staff to the President for Policy.
He will replace the current chief of staff Kim Soo-hyun.
According to Blue House Spokesperson Ko Min-jung,... Kim is expected to contribute to improving the economy and people's livelihoods.

"We have hopes that Kim will help breathe life into the economy to help people and businesses, as he is an outstanding expert with a wide range of experience, not only in the economy, but also in government policies related to society, welfare, and education."

Current First Vice Minister of Ministry of Economy and Finance Lee Ho-seung,... will also replace Yoon Jong-won as Senior Secretary to the President for Economic Affairs.
The Blue House anticipates Lee will play a big role in producing positive results in income-led growth, innovative growth, and creating a fairer economy the three main pillars of the Moon administration's economic policies.
