Hong Kong, Taiwan remember 30 years since Tiananmen Square massacre

A huge memorial and remembrance of the 30th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre took place in Hong Kong on Tuesday.
It's the only place on Chinese soil where mass commemorations are even allowed to be permitted.
The organizers say 180,000 people took part in a vigil, centered in the city's Victoria Park.
Police put the number at less than 40,000.
Since 1990,.. a candlelit vigil has been held in Victoria Park each year.
In central Taipei,... a massive inflatable version of the iconic 'Tank Man" has been on display for several weeks leading up to the anniversary.
Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council has called on Beijing to "face up to historical mistakes and apologize as soon as possible for the crackdown".
Local and foreign tourists visiting Tiananmen Square on Tuesday,... were under close police scrutiny and subject to frequent security checks.
