저소득 구직자에 50만원씩 최장 6개월 지원…내년 7월 시행

The government will provide subsidies for job seekers in the low-income bracket as they look for work.
The plan calls for monthly payments of 500-thousand won,... or roughly 4-hundred-23 U.S. dollars,.... for a maximum of six months.
The group eligible for this benefit include people aged between 18 and 64 who earn less than 50 percent of the median income,... as well as those who have been employed for at least six months in the two years before the date they apply.
The government hopes to implement the scheme from next July, and have related bills passed during the National Assembly's regular session, which starts in September.
The program is looked to help benefit some 350-thousand people next year and 600-thousand by 2022.
This is part of efforts to foster a so-called employment safety net... in line with the Moon administration's broader goal of building an inclusive nation.
