IMF "대중관세, 美기업이 대부분 부담…루저는 미중 소비자"

The International Monetary Fund says companies in the U.S. are paying almost all the costs from the Trump administration's tariffs on Chinese imports,...calling U.S. and Chinese consumers the main "losers" in the trade battle.
In a blog post on Thursday,... the IMF's chief economist Gita Go-pin-ath said "tariff revenue collected has been borne almost entirely by U.S. importers."
She explained that some of the tariffs have been passed on to U.S. consumers like those on washing machines, while others have been absorbed by importing firms through lower profit margins.
She also warned an all-out trade war will cut global GDP a third of a percentage point.
