The International Olympic Committee has put forward the head of the Korean Sports & Olympic Committee Lee Ki heung and nine other people as potential IOC candidates.
The IOC said on Thursday that it will elect the new committee member at its 134th General Assembly in Switzerland from June 23rd to 26th.
If Lee secures the most votes, he will be the second South Korean to represent the country at the IOC.
Right now,... the only South Korean member of the IOC is Yoo Seung min , the men's table tennis champion at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
