South Korea's household credit recorded one-point-three trillion U.S. dollars in the first quarter of 2019.
The Bank of Korea says household credit, which comprises household loans and credit card debt,... grew around five percent on-year in the first three months of the year.
After hitting a record 11-point-six percent on-year growth in 2016.... household credit growth in Korea has been slowing for nine consecutive quarters.
The central bank attributed the slowing growth to the government's tighter lending regulations and falling housing transactions.
