기재부, 버스 파업 자제 요청...근로자 임금 지원기간 확대할 것

The government is asking bus drivers not to go on strike this Wednesday, promising extra financial support.
Last week, bus drivers across the country voted to take action over a new law that'll cut their hours, meaning lower pay.
That law takes effect from July, limiting hours to 52 a week.
The finance ministry, in a statement this evening, offered financial support for bus companies with more than 5-hundred workers...for two years from that point instead of one.
Also the government vowed to look for ways to address their grievances in future cabinet meetings.
Earlier today, the nation's finance chief said regardless of the demonstration, it might be time to raise bus fares.
