The government is asking bus drivers not to go on strike this Wednesday, promising extra financial support for them.
Bus drivers across the country had voted last week to strike over a new law that'll cut their hours, meaning lower pay.
That law takes effect from July, limiting hours to 52 a week.
Now the finance ministry, in a statement this evening, has offered financial support for two years from that point instead of one.
It also said the government will look for ways to address their grievances in future cabinet meetings.
Earlier today, the finance minister had sounded sympathetic to the unions, saying that regardless of the strike it might be time to raise bus fares.
