Homemade Flavoured Butter | Good Housekeeping UK

Watch our video to find out how to add interest to vegetables and fish using flavoured butters.

1. In a large bowl, beat room temperature unsalted butter to soften it slightly.

2. To make garlic butter, add 1 crushed clove and about a tablespoon of chopped parsley. Stir together until well combined.

3. Take a large piece of cling film and spoon on the butter. Use the cling film to pat the butter into a rough log shape. Twist the excess cling film at either end to secure the butter, then roll with hands to create a neat, symmetrical log. Chill in the fridge for at least 1hr so that the butter firms up and can be cut into neat slices to serve.
