1. Over a low heat, warm a small frying pan and add desired amount of unsalted butter. As butter begins to melt, gently swirl pan to help it melt evenly.

2. As butter cooks, solids will bubble at top into white foam and will then brown and settle on bottom of pan in little specks. Cook until white milk solids have completely browned, around 3-4min and butter has taken on a deep golden colour and has a nutty fragrance.
