Good afternoon, it will feel more like early summer this afternoon. The mercury will soar quickly under plenty of sunshine.
Expect a warmer weekend, especially on Sunday, which is Buddha's Birthday. We will have top temperatures nearing 30 degrees Celsius here in Seoul under mostly sunny skies. Various events will take place this weekend to celebrate the occasions and there will be road closures in Seoul's central district of Jongro-gu so check in advance.
Colorful lanterns have been put up but extra cautions are needed as the air is quite dry across much of the country, and will remain dry with no rain in the forecast for the time being. Also it's time of the year we need to brace for high ozone levels, and what's worse, fine dust levels to jump tomorrow in central and western areas, so take care.
