It is the second heat-related alert this year following one issued for Gwangju last week.
Dry weather alerts have also expanded to more areas along the southern coast due to the constant wind.
Jeju was issued with its first ozone alert today ever since the air pollution warning system was implemented in 2015.
There won't be too much difference tomorrow as the dome of high pressure will strengthen,... enhancing the hot, sunny and dry weather pattern all across Northeast Asia.

Seoul kicking off at 14 degrees Celsius, while Busan and Jeju hit 18 and 19 degrees respectively.
The highs will be 2 to 8 degrees higher than the seasonal average.

The heat is likely to reach its peak on Friday,... and it will stay hot through the weekend before rain on Monday.
