On a different note,... Seoul says North Korea's test-fire violates the military agreement signed between the two Koreas in Pyeongyang last September,... and called on the North's regime to suspend activities that escalate military tensions on the Peninsula.
This came during a Blue House emergency meeting,... chaired by national security advisor Chung Eui-yong,... and attended by National Intelligence Service chief Suh Hoon, and Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo.
A Blue House official said South Korea will continue to coordinate closely with the U.S., as well as other neighboring countries to monitor the situation.
The presidential office also called for efforts to resume denuclearization talks,... which has hit an impasse in recent months.
