Samsung tops Q1 world smartphone market

Samsung Electronics remained the world’s top smartphone maker in the first quarter, with a market share of nearly 22 percent.
However, the firm is coming under growing pressure from Chinese tech giant Huawei.
According to research firm Strategy Analytics, Huawei's market share in Q1 was almost 18 percent - an on-year jump of six and a half percentage points.
