Samsung Electronics took the biggest share of the global DRAM market in the second quarter.... despite sluggish demand overall.
According to global market researcher DRAMeXchange,...Samsung had almost six-point-eight billion U.S. dollars of sales,...taking around 46 percent of the market share.
Its share actually went up three-percentage-points despite a two-point-seven percent decline in sales compared to the previous quarter.
Overall global DRAM market revenue fell by more than nine percent on-quarter.
Micron Technology saw its revenue drop by a fifth mainly amid the U.S.-China trade war, raising Samsung's marketshare.
