Norway finds beluga whale believed to have been trained by Russian Navy
  • 5 years ago
A beluga whale believed to have been trained by the Russian Navy has been found off the coast of Norway.
A local media reported that it repeatedly approached Norwegian boats off Ingoya Island,... more than four-hundred kilometers from Murmansk,... where Russia's Northern Fleet is based.
The tame beluga was wearing a harness on its head with a GoPro attachment,... but no camera.
The fisherman who first spotted the whale jumped into the Artic water to remove the harness.
