4.27 판문점 선언 1주년, 문재인 정부의 추진 방향은?

It's been almost one year since the geopolitical landscape here on the Korean Peninsula took a major turn.
On April 27th last year, the leaders of the two Koreas shook hands and gave each other big hugs, crossing the Military Demarcation Line, warming the hearts of many here in Korea.
And since then we saw rapid developments by regional players on surrounding the Korean Peninsula.
For a recap of the developments of the Moon administrations' peace drive in the region and much more-- we have our Shin Se-min joining us in studio.
Se-min, we're just a day before the one-year anniversary of the Panmunjeom Declaration,... any word from President Moon yet?
President Moon Jae-in, spent the day in the easternmost part of the country Gangwon-do Province,... bordering North Korea.
During a briefing on Gangwon-do Province's campaign for peace-based regional economic growth the president said his government will prepare for a future where the Korean Peninsula can open up a new era of peace.
Moon also promised his efforts for an early resumption of major inter-Korean projects like the tour packages to North Korea's Geumgangsan Mountain,... and the South Korean leader said his government will speed up the work to link the 104-kilometer long railway between cities from the two Koreas.

There's also a ceremony taking place marking the one-year anniversary of the first summit between leaders Moon and Kim at the border village of Panmunjeom tomorrow, hosted by Seoul. North Korea representatives won't be attending,... but Seoul decided to go ahead with the event anyways?
Right.
There have been a lot of ups and downs in terms of the decnuclearization process on the Korean Peninsula over the past year,... but South Korea's stance on engaging with the North to reach their ultimate goal has not changed.
With or without the North,... South Korea's unification ministry have chosen to go ahead with the culture event where artists from different countries like the U.S., China and Japan will be performing under the theme of peace in the region.
So this administration has remained adamant on its stance to reach the goal of the denuclearization of the peninsula. Correct?
Absolutely,.... through multiple accounts and different events,.. we can see that very clearly.
Despite highs and lows of the various summit meetings that took place over the past year,... President Moon's strong will in taking down the denuclearization issue hasn't changed.
Here are some of the latest remarks we pulled up from the president.
"Through voluntary denuclearization, Kazakhstan has achieved economic growth, and that in itself is a great inspiration in resolving the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula."
"As I have done before, I will do my utmost best so that another inter-Korean summit create a bigger opportunity and a chance for a steppingstone."
"Peace on the Korean Peninsula will serve as a new driving force for economic growth, which will not onl
