Number of workers earning above minimum living wage increases in 2018: Data

The number of workers who earned above what's considered the minimum living wage increased last year.
According to the latest report released by Statistics Korea, workers earning more than 2 million won a month,... or about eighteen-hundred U.S. dollars,... increased four percent from 2017,... to reach a total of sixty-three percent.
Those earning below that threshold fell by four percent on-year.
Most workers aged below thirty were employed in restaurants and bars while those in their 30s and 40s mostly worked in educational services.
Those aged fifty or above mostly worked at farms.
