Still warmer than average temperatures, nationwide rain in store _ 042319

Good morning, what a hot day we had in Seoul on Monday and the heat actually lingered through the evening. Gwangju city in Gyeonggi-do Province saw highs soaring to 31.6 degrees due to foehn wind which is a type of dry, warm, down-slope wind. Regions in the east had a breezy Monday.
Welcome rain is in store for the entire nation from Jeju this morning, gradually spreading to upper regions by the afternoon. Rain should help to ease the dryness and clean the air, not to mention Seoul was trapped under heavy toxic smog all day yesterday...still high in the west.
A warm and dusty morning to start the day in Seoul at 16 degrees Celsius, Gyeongju a lot breezier at 9.
Highs will be in the mid twenties, regions in the east will notice highs jumping 5 to 6 degrees higher than Monday.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
