Several people killed, others feared missing after M6.1 quake hits northern Philippines

A powerful magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck central Philippines, some 60 kilometers of Manila,... on Monday afternoon.
The Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reports the quake happened at 5:11PM, local time.
Reports vary but between 6 to 8 people have been killed and around 20 were wounded.
There are fears the death toll could rise as there are fears dozens could be trapped in the rubble of a collapsed commercial building in the province of Pampanga.
Rescuers are using heavy duty equipment and search dogs to try to reach people trapped in the building.
The international airport at Clark was closed following the quake and scores of flights were canceled after major damage was reported there.
