Seoul notifies Pyeongyang of 4.27 anniversary event to take place this Sat. at Panmunjeom

Seoul informed Pyeongyang today... that it's holding a commemorative event on Saturday at the border village of Panmunjeom... to mark the first anniversary of the historic talks between President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
According to the unification ministry the notification was made... through the joint liaison office this afternoon.
Unlike speculation that the two sides would celebrate the day together, the regime has not been part of the planning process.
It's not confirmed whether North Korean officials will even attend the event.
Special stages will be set up on the South Korean side of Panmunjeom on Saturday for the commemorative event,... for art and music performances.
Among them will be concerts by local artists, as well as stars from the U.S., China and Japan.
