Multiple bombs exploded at six locations in Sri Lanka as worshippers were attending Easter Sunday services.
The blasts, which occurred at three hotels and three churches, have reportedly killed at least 138 people and wounded more than 400.
According to the local police, the bombings occured in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo -- also in Negombo and Batticaloa.
There were no immediate claims of responsibility.
In response to the attacks, the Sri Lankan Prime Minister called a national security council meeting.
And on Twitter, he strongly condemned what he called cowardly attacks on his people.
