That's right, Mark. The world’s richest couple took to Twitter to announce they have completed the process of dissolving their marriage on Thursday.
MacKenzie and Jeff Bezos revealed their divorce terms, where Jeff was granted 75 percent of the couple's Amazon stock, along with all voting control.
As part of the terms of their divorce, Jeff would also retain his full stake in The Washington Post and Blue Origin, a private space travel company.
Essentially, MacKenzie would own four percent of the online retail giant, leaving her with 35-point-6 billion U.S. dollars in stock,... and making her among the five richest women in the world.
Jeff still remains the richest person in the world.
The couple have been married for 25 years and have four children.
The divorce comes after it was revealed that Jeff Bezos was reportedly in a relationship with former Fox TV host Lauren Sanchez.
