Fine dust levels in the nation continue to remain alarmingly high. On top of that, the capital is getting cloudier by the hour.
For the latest weather updates, let's turn to our Michelle Park at the weather center... Michelle, how's the air looking?
Good evening, it was a comfortable day today temperature wise,... but as you can see here Seoul and the surrounding areas are ranging between 40 and 47 micrograms per cubic meter of fine dust,... and these levels are considered harmful to our health.
The dust concentrations are expected to accumulate throughout the night,... even with some sporadic showers later tonight.
There will be an increase of clouds across Northeast Asian countries tomorrow.
Also, the wind will be very gusty in the east tomorrow,... dropping temperatures a tad but at least clearing out the fine dust from the air.
Checking out the temperature readings in detail,...
Seoul will wake up on Thursday to 5 degrees Celsius, Busan and Jeju warmer at 11 and 12 degrees respectively.
Despite overcast conditions, we will have mild readings in the afternoon, lingering between 13 and 19 degrees.
