South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor says its new mid-size Sonata model will be "partially" self-driving.
The company said Tuesday the new Sonata will have "Lane Following Assist" technology which detects traffic lanes to keep the vehicle in its lane on the motorway.
The new function also controls acceleration, braking and steering depending on the actions of the vehicle ahead of it.
The company said drivers can use this new feature regardless of the vehicle's speed.
Similar features were introduced before but drivers could only use them when driving faster than 60 kilometers per hour.
The firm says its Sonata is the first car in Korea equipped with these new functions.
