S. Korea's trade terms worsen for 15th consecutive month on lower demand for chips

South Korea's terms of trade worsened for the 15th consecutive month in February on lower demand for machinery goods and chips.
The Bank of Korea says the net terms-of-trade index last month came to 93-point-four,.... down four percent on-year.
Terms of trade measures the amount of imports a country can buy for each unit of exports... relative to the base year 2010.
Korea's terms of trade has been falling since December of 2017.
Both the export volume index and the export value index fell last month.
