Staying with North Korea,...
The United Nations Human Rights Council adopted a resolution... criticizing North Korea's human rights violations for the 17th consecutive year.
The resolution, adopted in a unanimous decision,... condemns the regime's "systematic and widespread" human rights abuse,... which has worsened due to aid groups being unable to enter the North.
It called for accountability to ensure that crimes do not remain unpunished,... while supporting the General Assembly's resolution to impose additional sanctions and take the matter to the International Criminal Court.
The council also mentions the importance of continuing inter-Korean dialogue and the need to speed up efforts... in arranging family reunions.
