The official campaigning period for the April 3rd by-elections kicks off tomorrow.
For 13 days,... candidates will be able to reach out to voters in a variety of ways and sell their policy pledges to the public.
This time, two parliamentary seats are up for grabs,... as well as three local councilors' posts.
The two districts are Changwon and Tongyeong -- both in the southeast of the country.
The seats are vacant following the suicide of a progressive political figure and the conviction of a lawmaker for violating the political funds law.
Although it's only two seats,... it will serve as a litmus test to see public sentiment towards the parties.
