Seoul to support urban garden farming, beekeeping and insect breeding

Urban agriculture communities made up of more than 5 families can now apply for government support in Seoul.
Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on Tuesday that it plans to foster 100 local farming communities by 2022 to revitalize urban agriculture. These include garden farming, beekeeping, and insect breeding. The city aims to discover and support 50 urban agriculture communities in 2019. Each community can receive up to about one-thousand-eight-hundred U.S. dollars to spend on farming equipment and study materials.
