Jamsil Baseball Stadium get makeover...replacing grass and seats

Ahead of the start of the professional baseball season on Saturday, Seoul’s main baseball stadium has finished its renovation works.
Seoul Metropolitan Government spent about 2.5 million U.S. dollars to refurbish Jamsil Baseball Stadium. Old turf was completely replaced after 11 years and the same type of soil that is used in the U.S. Major League was put into the infield section.
Some changes were also made for observers. Over 6,000 seats in the first and third base areas were completely replaced. About five-hundred light bulbs were replaced and cleaned so people can get a better view during night games.
