Kim Jong-un says economic development is the most urgent task

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said last week that there's no more urgent task than developing his country's economy and improving its people's lives.
North Korea's state newspaper Rodong Shinmun reported on Saturday that
Kim had stressed that the power of the North Korean people in forging a future on their own has seen no obstacles.
He delivered that message in a letter addressed to an assembly of party members tasked with honing the people's loyalty.
Held for the first time under Kim's leadership, the assembly was convened from Wednesday to Thursday.
But, in the letter, Kim Jong-un didn't say anything about the second North Korea-U.S. summit.
