North Korea's state-run newspaper has claimed... that Kim Jong-un's visit to Vietnam was a success.
The Rodong Sinmun reported Sunday... of the leader's departure from Hanoi for his journey back to North Korea.
It said Kim's trip was a groundbreaking event,... that strengthened the two countries' friendly ties which would last for generations to come.
The newspaper reported... that Kim was pleased with the outcome of the visit,... and that he thanked the Vietnamese government and its people for their warm welcome.
Kim left Vietnam on Saturday afternoon,... and his train is currently passing through mainland China.
If his train continues to travel at the current pace and take the widely expected route,... it is likely to arrive in North Korea early Tuesday.
