Coalgate Scam: Major embarassement for UPA as crucial files are missing

In a major embarassment for the UPA govt, crucial files related to Coalgate investigations have gone missing. Today in Parliament, the opposition hauled the govt over coals on the issue of missing files.
Coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal is expected to make a statement in Parliament on the issue. On July 11, the Supreme Court had ordered that the Central Govt furnish all the records pertaining to allotment of 178 coal blocks to the CBI.
