Even as anger continues to spill onto the streets of Delhi against the inaction of the capital's police force in making Delhi safe for women, the government seems to be defending and even praising the Delhi Police. The Home Ministry congratulated the Delhi Police for cracking the gangrape case. Interestingly, the government's praise comes on a day when the Delhi High Court pulled up the Delhi Police questioning their inaction. The High Court isn't alone, public outrage is growing and citizens are asking why no policeman has been suspended or a Home Ministry official reprimanded. But despite this, we learn that Delhi Police Commissioner - Neeraj Kumar will not be removed.
