Instead of Lokpal Bill the Cabinet has now come up with the crucial Food Security Bill known to be Sonia Gandhi's pet project and UPA-II's equivalent of MNREGA and RTI. The Bill had also come up for discussion on Tuesday but wasn't cleared along with some others due to sharp differences over meeting the huge cost to the exchequer.
