Poor air quality across Korea though weekend _ 022219

Good morning, unhealthy levels of ultra fine dust continue to hang over the Korean peninsula, choking many people... causing itchy eyes, sore throats and even headaches. The air quality is likely to remain 'very poor' with ultra fine dust advisories in place for many areas.

Afternoon temperature readings though will be on the mild side, but beware of big temperature gaps between lows and highs of nearly 10 degrees Celsius, and dress accordingly but expect to see fine dust staying with us through the weekend.

Afternoon rain is in store for Jeju with a high of 10 degrees, the rest of the southern regions will also see double-digit highs. Busan could be as mild as 14 degrees this afternoon.

Over in Hanoi, where the two leaders from North Korea and the U.S will meet next week for the second summit, the city will have light showers today and tomorrow.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
