President Moon express high hopes upcoming Kim-Trump summit will become major turning point on ongoing peace drive

President Moon Jae-in expressed high hopes today for the upcoming North Korea-U.S. summit.
Speaking to his top aides,… the president said the second Kim-Trump summit will be a step forward on the path to denuclearization.
"Against the backdrop of large-scale agreements like the complete denuclearization of Korean Peninsula, new relations between North Korea and the U.S., and establishing peace on the Peninsula, I anticipate the upcoming summit will be a major turning point in making progress on a more detailed and tangible outcome."
The South Korean president also said that the peace process that started last year is making progress in bringing the Korean Peninsula closer to prosperity and peace.
And he said his government will do its utmost to keep dialogue going between Seoul, Pyeongyang and Washington and continue the work it' been doing.
