Now we turn to Michelle Park for the latest weather updates. Michelle, we've got a lot of cold weather ahead of us.
Yes Daniel,... a cold, stinging wind is blowing across the country, sending the mercury plunging tonight. Most places are under cold wave advisories.
Our Friday afternoon will be mostly cloudy but gladly with good air quality. However, temperatures will remain low,... about 1 to 4 degrees lower than today.
By the morning, the mercury is expected to drop down to minus 10 degrees Celsius in Seoul, Chuncheon at minus 12,... while Daegu and Gyeongju begin at minus 7 and minus 6 degrees respectively.
The readings will stay below freezing in Seoul even in the afternoon at minus 1 degree, while Busan is much warmer,... rising up to 7 degrees.
Other than the southern parts of the country, the sky will remain dry for the next couple of days. And through our weekend,... there's going to be strong winds, keeping the mercury down to near minus 10 degrees. We will gradually return to the seasonal readings starting next Tuesday.
