Shree Sailam Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga is the only Hindu temple where Jyotirlinga and Shakti Peetha where are located together. In today's video, we are going to tell you about this sacred temple of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva.

1 Shri Bramarambha Mallikarjuna Temple or Shree Saila Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
2 This huge temple is rich with architectural and sculptural marvels and is located in the high mountains in Shrishailam (Kurnool district).
3 It is the only temple where the Shakti Peetha and the Jyotirlinga are situated together and is revered by the followers of both Shaivism and Shaktism.
4 As per Hindu legend, this self-manifested Jyotirlinga was worshiped with Mallika flower (local name for Jasmine), which is why it is called Mallikarjuna.
5 Goddess Parvati’s Shakti form in this temple is popular by the name Bhagvathy Bhravari or Bramarambha.
6 The Mukha Mandapa that leads to the sanctum has several finely sculpted pillars and a huge idol of Nandikeshwara (Nandi). It was notably built during the Vijayanagar period.
7 There are a number of beautifully carved sculptures in the each section of the temple and the deities of different gods and goddess can be found here.
