S. Korea ranks 30th in global talent competitiveness

South Korea has ranked 30th on the 2019 Global Talent Competitiveness Index,…unchanged from the previous year.
In the annual list compiled by graduate business school INSEAD and published Monday, South Korea got a score of 54-point-one-nine for enabling, attracting, growing and retaining talent.
It was ranked sixth globally for ICT infrastructure and second for R&D expenditure.
South Korea was among the worst countries for labor-employer cooperation, gender earning gaps and leadership opportunities for women.
Switzerland, Singapore, the U.S., Norway and Denmark were the top five on list.
Japan and China both edged down two spots from the previous year,…at 22nd and 45th respectively.
