Democrats Reject Trump's Newest Shutdown Offer

According to Business Insider, Democrats have reportedly rejected President Donald Trump's latest proposal to re-open the government even before the proposal was officially announced. President Trump first decided to shut down the government in an attempt to pressure Congress to approve the budget for a $5.7 billion border wall. Trump is expected to offer Democrats temporary protection for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA recipients, also known as Dreamers.
